Congratulations Liz Truss - Blue supporter (6th Sep 2022 12:09:32)
As a Conservative heartland I am sure we all wish our glorious primeminster good luck. Liz is a true Conservative and will share Conservative values that we all share in East Hampshire. And I think its only right to wish Boris all the best.
Remaining Labour will be beaten in 2024 and Brexit will be a successful achievement.
40 new Hospitals
20,000 more police officers
More nurses
More money in people's pockets
And force benefit scroungers into work
Brexit completed
Beat Covid
More freedom of speech
Tougher Laws to stop Gypsy's from roaming
Tougher immigration
Low Unemployment
Diversity and equality
Stamping out corruption
A couple of lines of this slightly deranged post are verging on nasty. I think I can tell a lot about the poster- quite far to the right of the new Prime Minister, for one thing.
Well let's just hope that she has plenty of Delivery Vans when she starts delivering all the deliveries that she has promised to deliver to all of us expecting a delivery ~ that is when she is not busy having another ex marital affair.
This is the "Remainer" who wanted to abolish the Monarchy.
A former Lib-Dem who changes her mind/sides more often than I change my underwear.
Re: Congratulations Liz Truss - Joe (6th Sep 2022 15:33:03)
If the original poster knew anything about Liz Truss they would know that she is perhaps not as right wing as they think- went on CND marches - was a Lib Dem in her youth then decided the way ahead in politics and to get to power was to join the Conservative party. She herself I think called herself a “ career politician “ . She also started off very firmly as a Remainer.
Hope she’s a tough as Maggie bringing the unions under control is a must. She needs to stop all these unnecessary strikes that are crippling the country. There should be a law made that after a set time and no agreement has been reached it should go to an independent court for settlement. Same with the migrant’s coming across the channel why can’t our navy patrol out 12 mile limit and turn them back.Lots for her to get stuck in to .

Original post has to be a wind-up

@Passfield Resident - I don't think the OP was intended to be taken seriously! 🤣

Hi,
Do not understand the hullabaloo of a new appointed Prime Minister?
We live in a democracy in the United Kingdom, not a dictatorship making all the rules.
The new Prime Minister has to get the agreement of their Cabinet for any new policy to be implemented. Also law changes need House of Commons agreement.
Yes a new P.M. has power and internationally, but no one person is the saviour of our life now or in the future.
