Put a application in for volunteering with St john ambulance and my application was declined?. Back in 2010 I was a volunteer and was accepted immediately by the local division?. Apparently its now commercial and London decides on all volunteering applications?. Such a shame a community focused organisation has commercialised. :(

Maybe they have enough volunteers at the moment, maybe your view regarding the organisation is incorrect, maybe your disappointment at not being accepted spilled over into this forum to have a pop at them.

Sam they wouldn't be advertising if they had enough volunteers?. I just tried helping my local community but the whole selection process is utterly ridiculous compared to how it use to be.
