Volunteers of Liphook Group
- Pauline (4th Nov 2022  10:25:04)

We have formed a group for all the current, and potentially new, volunteers in the village. It is called Volunteers of Liphook Group (VLG) and our events will be known as “Volunteer’s Social Events”

Initially these will occur about 4 times a year, with the first one (coffee morning) on Tuesday 24th January, at 10.30am – 11.30am in The Millennium Centre.

Please save the date and pop by, meet some like minded people and find out more info about opportunities in the village. Come along with friend/neighbours, the more the merrier.

The group's aim is: :

To work together to build a voluntary community that encourages more people, of all ages to get involved; share ideas; meet like-minded people; discover what is happening in the village; have fun and communicate with each other.

“THE MORE THE COMMUNITY WORKS TOGETHER, THE BETTER THE COMMUNITY WORKS”

Would you be interested in hearing from local voluntary organisations about ways people can get involved? I am the manager at Hollycombe Steam Museum and we welcome such groups to come and undertake a specific project every so often or as a one off. No prior skills necessary.

Hi Lucy
Yes, if a representative from Hollycombe can come on the 24th Jan that would be great, or send us some information and we will talk about Volunteering at Hollycombe during the coffee morning.
